GV700 - The Tuscan Violin is a fine semi-professional instrument, finished to resemble a veteran instrument, and providing a warm, well-centered, neutral tone. The Tuscan is easy to play, offering sparkling performance.
The instruments start with very nice old wood. Then each is constructed in the classic Italian method. The plates are beautifully arched, the graduation regular and thin, the scroll nicely carved and very well balanced. Finally, soft antiqued varnish lightly coats the body and scroll.
We set these up in our shop with hand split soundpost, properly planed fingerboard, excellent simple fittings, professional quality strings, and a well cut French bridge.
The Tuscan has a standard classical student setup, with proper classical arch to the bridge, perlon strings, and proper relief in the fingerboard.
Advanced amateurs and professionals seeking a backup instrument will find these instruments an excellent choice. Our usual terms including a generous trial period apply.
