south of Beijing. Lightly flamed wood entirely hand
carved by skilled worker. Interior construction and
overall design is very good. Thin, supple varnish applied
completely by hand. Neck comfortable and fast. The
response, tone, and dynamic range are beyond
adequate for most beginning to intermediate players.
