Gianna's GV200 Milano - $495
Developed in conjunction with a small, very
professional shop south of Beijing. They use lightly
flamed wood, but are entirely hand carved by skilled
workers, rather than produced in a bulk
manufacturing setting. The interior construction and
overall design are quite good. The varnish is thin,
supple, and completely laid by hand. The neck is
comfortable and fast. And the response, tone, and
dynamic range are more than adequate for most
beginning to intermediate players.
Entirely set up in our shop with properly planed
fingerboard, excellent simple fittings, good quality
strings, and a well cut French bridge.
We think players seeking a first decent instrument,
good players seeking a backup, and the frugal will
enjoy the Milano. Our usual terms including a
generous trial period apply.
