After a while, advancing players realize their instrument isn't up to the task. With musical and technical advancement, equipment upgrades are inevitable. We're well aware of the time demands of the modern world and make finding that great intermediate outfit easy by full descriptions on our online shop. We'll play any of these violins or outfits for you over the telephone (866 884 6546 toll free). We'll be glad to demonstrate the instruments in person. Don't forget:
Intermediate players – either amateurs or students – require a broad range of tone colors and dynamics to learn expressive playing, need fast and consistent response for more complex techniques, and sufficiently high peak volume for beginning group performance. Rich tone, good balance, and easy projection aid developing advanced skills. At the same time, a certain amount of willingness and forgiveness provide confidence as increasingly difficult techniques and materials are mastered.
These instruments are generally hand made in mid-size to large workshops by craft specialists. They begin to exhibit a greater degree of individual difference and can be more effectively adjusted to a player’s preferences.
Intermediate Violins & Fiddles $700 to $1300
